This free iPhone app provides information and functions regarding criminal activity, including:

Most wanted criminals in the area
Updated crime statistics and news related to crime.
Users are able to submit anonymous tips and witness accounts simply by using their iPhone.

This app could help solve crime, however, are anonymous witnesses really that reliable?? Although this app is only available in New York, with the increasing role technology plays in our lives it is safe to say similar apps will be seen worldwide.
