What is it?

Social Media can be defined as "people talking to each other online".  It is also the name used for the tools people are using on the internet to Create, Connect, Share, Collaborate and Define.

The best way to look at social media is to view it as one of many internet marketing channels - but one that has the amazing power to go viral. In the very least it has the awesome ability to engage your audience in meaningful conversations about your product, company, and brand.
