As proud digital partners of Volkswagen New Zealand, BKA presents: The Great Kiwi Summer Roadtrip.
This summer, Volkswagen hit the road one of their coolest new vehicles - the VW California - to the delight of loyal fans nationwide. To build brand awareness and leverage the much loved kiwi tradition of summer road trips, Volkswagen focused the campaign around user generated content and having everyday kiwis at the core. Continuing themes from the #myVWstory journey, with a fresh and updated approach, the Great Kiwi Summer Roadtrip began.
Utilising the endless capabilities of our favourite CMS - Umbraco, we were able to provide a digital solution to capture the journey. Features included:
- Interactive map of New Zealand
- Adaptive line to portray the intended journey
- Photo up-loader with location drop pin
- Admin section with image moderation
- Entry form
- Smart formatting gallery
Engagement exceeded expectations with over 800 entries, and a significant increase in social media following. A huge thank you to those who followed the journey and to everyone who participated!
